Valencia Club de Fútbol also known as Valencia CF, Valencia or Los Che) is a Spanish football club based in Valencia. They play in La Liga and are one of the most successful and biggest clubs in Spanish football and European football. Valencia won six La Liga titles, seven Copa del Rey trophies, two Fairs Cups (which was the predecessor to the UEFA Cup), one UEFA Cup, one UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, and two UEFA Super Cups. They also reached two UEFA Champions League finals in a row, losing to La Liga rivals Real Madrid in 2000 and then to German club Bayern Munich on penalties after a 1–1 draw in 2001. In total, Valencia have reached seven major European finals, winning four of them. In the all-time La Liga table, Valencia is in third position behind Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

In terms of continental titles, Valencia is again the third-most successful behind the two, with these three being the only Spanish clubs to have won five or more continental trophies.


The Valencia CF training facilities are located in the town of Paterna just outside of Valencia, in the East of Spain. A convenient setting near significant football soccer sites as well as important cultural and tourist locations and the Mediterranean coast. Youth players from all over the world here can attend a football soccer technique program developed by experienced and knowledgeable VCF own trainers. It is adapted to the age and level of camp participants. Groups are lodged in a 3-star hotel located walking distance from the academy and enjoy an organized program of professionally guided tours and excursions in the beautiful city of Valencia. Visiting groups are trained on the same complex as the first team which including numerous 7-a-side and 11-a-side pitches, and two full-sized grass pitches. On top of world class training, groups also get the opportunity to watch first team and youth team training sessions (subject to match and training schedules) and receive a behind the scenes tour of the magnificent Mestalla Stadium.


With almost 800.000 inhabitants Valencia is the third big city of Spain (behind Madrid and Barcelona). The city of Valencia is getting more and more popular among tourists, not only because of its beautiful landscape area, the good weather and the nice beaches. People who like sports (indoor or outdoor) will feel right at home, as will those that like sailing, culture, dancing and the beach life. In short: there are so many things to do in Valencia, you won’t easily get bored, even if you tried!
