Lisbon is the westernmost large city located in Europe, as well as its westernmost capital city and the only one along the Atlantic coast. It lies in the western Iberian Peninsula on the Atlantic Ocean and the Tagus River. Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world, outdating other modern European capitals such as London, Paris and Rome by hundreds of years. Lisbon enjoys a Mediterranean climate. Among all the metropolises in Europe, it has the warmest winters (together with Barcelona), with average temperatures 15 °C (59 °F) during the day and 8 °C (46 °F) at night in the period from December to February. The typical summer’s season lasts about six months, from May to October, although also in November, March and April temperatures sometimes reach around 20 °C (68.0 °F).

▼ ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS: HOTEL & SPORTS HOSTEL (located walking distance from football centre)

The Belenenses Coaching Camp experience is based on accommodation located near the National Football Centre in the Jamor Valley. Move Sports has two options available for your team. The first option is based at a 4 star standard hotel, this hotel is ideal as it is only 15 minutes walking distance away from the football soccer pitches where you will be training.  The second option is based at the local sports hostel (see picture above). If your team´s budget is not of a 4 star standard we have developed this cheaper option based on triple rooms at the sports centre hostel also located walking distance from all the sports facilities. In case you choose to stay at the Sports Centre Hostel the restaurant where your players will be having their meals is also located at the Sports Centre Hostel and it is of excellent quality.
